This is recycled, reused, and uninspired work that simply follows the conventions of suspense/horror films and lets the audience determine whether they're content with the usual genre movie, or if they're disappointed by the lack of originality and uniqueness.

I was among the disappointed, the majority. Surely Ti West is a potent director, but The Innkeepers is nowhere near a great horror movie.
