I'm confused by the rave reviews surrounding this film. 'The Innkeepers' has all the ingredients of a superb ghost story, but falls so incredibly short. You can have all the suspenseful build up in the world, but without any gratifying pay off.
.. there is no point. I give it props for its subtlety, but at some point this movie just becomes a chore to sit through. Once creepy, twelve times retarded.
