Review of The Informer (1935) by Kkl10 A — 11 Apr 2014
The photography is simply stunning and the acting is superb in The Informer, a film with overly simplistic plot and a bit dull second act, but also a movie with phenomenal first act featuring terrific score and outstanding atmosphere and the terrific resolution which feels natural and warm thanks in large part to a fantastic performance from Victor McLaglen, a deserved Oscar winner here.
