Review of The Informant (2008) by Daniel P — 27 Jul 2010
This is much more of a character study than it is a movie. I have to give up my acting award to Damon. He got it down perfectly. I have to admit he did really freaking good as an actor. It's pretty funny, although white collar crime seems really boring.
In fact the plot to this movie is really bring to me. The only thing to really watch is how things spiral out of control. It's a slow descent and the numbers rise as he keeps lying to cover himself up.
Kinda boring, but the dull droll of it mixed with the cutesy music creates a comedic feel to the whole thing. So, I guess watching a pathological liar who gets caught up in corporate fraud and suffers intensely from his own lying tendencies.
