Based on Bruce Springsteen's "Highway Patrolman, "Indian Runner" is a solid family melodrama that flew under the cinematic radar back in 1991. David Morse is a very underrated actor.
Vigo Mortensen and Charles Bronson are terrific as well in Sean Penn's first outing as a director.
