Review of The Incredible Hulk (2008) by Santorop — 16 Jun 2008
Solid movie, but with many flaws. Dialogue between Betty and the Hulk is laughably bad. The final action scene between the Hulk and the Abomination was disappointing. The real problem with this movie is the considerable lack of character development.
I never got a feel for Bruce Banner's character. Liv Tyler as Betty Ross was a little bit to breathy. For now it's the number 2 superhero movie of the summer, well behind Iron Man. Hopefully by the end of the summer The Dark Knight will have surpassed it also.
