Review of The Incident (1967) by Tyler M — 10 Jan 2009
The Incident is a very taut and intense film. From the opening scene you're hooked all the way. Martin Sheen and particularly Tony Musante are brilliantly brutal as two thugs who terrorize the passengers of a New York City subway car.
The black and white photography is also exceptionsal which adds to the sense of realism this film posesses. Overall, a highly entertaining, thought provoking and troubling film that is just as relevant today as it was in 1967.
A must see!
