Review of The Incantation (2018) by Larry S — 24 Jul 2018
I would say try and avoid this mess of a horror flick. The dialogue and acting are incredibly stilted, and the storyline seems to have been cobbled together from so many other similar films. Sam Valentine stars as the beautiful Lucy, a naive yet intrepid young woman, who has flown from America to France for the funeral of her great-uncle, the Count Rose du Sang, at the creepy Castle Borley.
Will Lucy be coerced into joining the devil-worshiping clan that resides there, or can she break free from her family bloodline and escape? Who knows, since the ending was so convoluted, although some reviewers were able to figure it out apparently.
Overall, I just found this movie painful to watch and I couldn't wait till it ended.
