Grade: B-.

Very slow, overlong, sometimes boring and even over-the-top and almost even made me feel soulless!!

Here is what I mean when I say the movie felt soulless to me: After watching the film, I left the theater with no emotions...The first 10 minutes are sort of funny, but slow, but the tsunami scene--WHOA! and WOW! Very sweeping and difficult to watch...but left me with no emotion until the last 20 minutes which! I may say are incredibly and very difficult to watch and become satisfied with what you're watching!!! I didn't feel any emotions or reason to care about anything that was happening from the aftermath of the tsunami and onward!!

This is not because I'm a soulless, heartless person! It's because I thought film moved too slowly and felt extremely overlong for my patience!!! I did feel extreme and very strong emotion throughout the final 20-35 minutes of this movie!!! The final 20-35 minutes extremely was difficult and unsatisfying to watch, and not because it was terrible, but because what was happening in the final.

20-35 minutes was very intense and disturbing!!

The Impossible could've been very possible to enjoy if it didn't move too slowly and felt extremely boring for my patience, which is what happened to me...since the film moved very slowly for me, I eventually felt pretty bored watching the movie!! It was sometimes over-to-the-top and unnecessarily melodramatic!!! Very predictable, melodramatic, slow-moving and boring for me!
