Review of The Impossible (2012) by Ryan K — 02 Jul 2013
The Impossible is shocking, horrific, scary, disturbing, emotional, gut wrenching, and a powerful film of survival and the separation of a family. It juggles fear and safety so well. This is a great movie.
It just has such a horrific and a great sense of realism to the situation. I cringed a bunch of times during the film with some scenes and it was just not a pretty sight either. Honestly I am glad this did have some sort of nomination at the academy awards.
It was a really well done and intense disaster survival film.
