I knew it would be troubling, but I am glad I watched it. Witnessing the sheer calamity of a tidal wave, of course, was enthralling. the aftermath of the family's struggle to find each other was mixed.
It did lead me to ponder how "Buddhist" I have become, in terms of feeling no empathy for those who cling to permanence and fear change.
