It's hard to single out an actor for "really delivering" because this movie is more than that. It's based on the tsunami that hit the Indian Ocean on Boxing Day 2004. The cast worked beautifully with one another to recreate this tragedy within the construct of an immediate family.
The raw emotion is overpowering. In this case, each actor relied on the others to support their performance.
