An emotional powerhouse, 'The Impossible' is yet another example of real history translating to touching screen magic. Bayona's raw direction, mixed with rock solid performances from adult and child actors alike and a graceful score, just turn up both the sympathy and shock factor to eleven, even if the dialogue can be clunky.
