Review of The Impossible (2012) by Manolo P — 16 Dec 2016
Absolutely breathtaking movie, deservant of all the praise it earned and more. The true story behind the film is really compelling and powerfully moving, the direction is beautiful and stylish, the visual effects are intense and phenomenal, giving viewers a disturbingly realistic look at the gruesome and terrifying reality a victim goes through as they're thrown under a tsunami wave and the tragic aftermath of the real one from 2004.
All of the heartwarming and gut-wrenching storytelling is supported by magnificent performances from its entire cast, especially Watts, McGregor and Holland, who proved he has talents that everyone should look for in the future.
