This film is great, not in spite of the re-write (due to heath ledger's death) but because of it. the pythonesque animation is odd to those who don't recognise it, but not out of place. the use of his mates to fill in for him works brilliantly, and the re-write of the ending is all at once sad, beautiful and perfectly played.
