Though Heath Ledger, Colin Farrell and Johnny Depp are all talented actors, the mixture of the three was not smooth-sailing.
The overwhelming muddle of metaphors was neither entertaining nor easy viewing. Two stars must be given for great costumes and set design, but the film was more of a brainstorm than a fully thought out piece.
