Review of The Illustrated Man (1969) by Dave S — 08 Jul 2008
Cool 60's sci-fi score and sets. Pretty consistently creepy, but it has some very dull patches. The last two stories in particular weren't interesting enough on a narrative level to make up for how depressing they were.
Of course, by the logic of the framing device they were intended to be more upsetting than entertaining, but that still doesn't make for something I'd want to watch again.
