Review of The Illustrated Man (1969) by Peter P — 17 Jun 2010
I heard this book mentioned on a tv show I watch (feel free to try and figure out what tv show that might be) and then found the movie at the library just randomly, so I thought I would give it a chance.
The story itself was interesting but way too slow, and although I was entertained a little bit, from what I saw I have no interest in reading the book. Overall the main plot of the movie is that the illustrated man has some body art that if you look at long enough will make you see some fairly lame short stories visions, all with the same 2 people in them.
Anyway, now that I have seen it, I would have been fine skipping it, but I am sure it is one of those movies that will help me later in life when someone tries to pull out rare trivia and mentions it and I can throw it back in their face, cause yeah, I have seen it.
BOOYA!
