Review of The Illusionist (2009) by Kris V — 27 Feb 2011
Further perfecting the style from Les triplettes de Belleville, this is again a beautiful 2D animated movie with amazing animation and ligthning. The screenplay from Jacques Tati is reminiscent of the Mon Oncle movie, but the whole thing felt a bit lacking and never really got to me.
