Review of The Illusionist (2009) by Ray P — 14 Jun 2011
This Oscar-nominated animated film from the French team that brought us âThe Triplets of Bellevilleâ? is a highly imaginative and wonderful to look at piece of art. Taking its influence from the work of the great French comic actor, Jacques Tati, this film follows the adventures of an aging illusionist and the young woman who seems to be the only person that believes in the power of magic.
