Review of The Illusionist (2006) by Keng — 21 Nov 2006
I thought this was very good, into it shot itself in the foot at the end, with a twist ending that felt pedestrian, and haphazardly tacked on. Just because it went along with the theme of the movie (a trick ending, for a movie about someone who performs tricks) isn't enough to make it clever.
