Review of The Illusionist (2006) by Luke C — 24 Apr 2012
A very intriguing tale set in Vienna in early 1900's, this film was slow to begin with but when it got going you were absorbed into the film's atmosphere. The plot was quite faded as you didn't know what the core of the film was but the acting and the clever plot twists save this and make it seem very extraordinary and astonishing.
An overall great time to watch but the running time may drain your concentration.
