Review of The Ides of March (2011) by Cabrita — 31 Dec 2011
This is a film that does not have a great story that does not build up drama from it's premise, The film solely relise on the strength of it's actors. So the bottomline for this film is how great was the acting.
To call the acting great would be pretentious. The performances in the film don't even compare to the best of the year. Brad Pitt in Moneyball. Michael Shanon in Take Shelter. The films week story stops the film from greatness.
