The Ides of March is a great film about political ambition and the destruction of innocence. Seeing Ryan Gosling's bright eyed idealist fall into darkness makes for compulsive viewing. There are also a whole slew of great performances on offer too, including George Clooney, Marisa Tomei, Philip Seymour Hoffman and Paul Giamatti.
