Buonissima regia e sceneggiatura, il film è decisamente avvincente. Clooney ormai ha raggiunto il suo standard più alto nella recitazione, nella quale si affiancano il grandissimo Philip Seymour Hoffman e un sorprendente Ryan Gosling.
Realisticamente cinico, consigliatissimo.
