Review of The Ides of March (2011) by Kenneth B — 09 May 2012
I tend to approach overtly political films with caution, particularly American ones. Having said that with Gosling, Clooney, Seymour-Hoffman, Giamatti and so on there was never going to be a problem on the acting front with this one.
The scripting is good and throws in the odd surprise but ultimately this isn't as revelatory as it seemingly intends to be.
