Review of The Ides of March (2011) by Bobby K — 13 Jul 2012
Not being a huge fan of political movies, I was surprised by how engaging this was. Definitely a well-crafted story about how a young and idealistic press secretary discovers the ugly realities of the world of politics, by getting caught up in a tragic scandal that threatens to throw him under the bus.
.. and what he decides to do about it. The cast was great (I've always liked Evan Rachel Wood), with Clooney at the helm while delivering a great performance himself.
