Review of The Ides of March (2011) by Jay P — 10 Oct 2012
Clooney clearly proves himself as a complete man of film; great writing, fantastic directing and sublime acting - an accolade shared by Gosling and Giamatti (as always). The film centres around a small but evolving political scandal.
There's nothing in it that will really shock, but the drama, performance and the take on the darker side of the job gives the film good weight.
