Review of The Ides of March (2011) by Tim C — 11 Oct 2012
While I don't pretend to understand the multi-faceted complexity of the US Political system, this film is certainly engaging. I didn't know that George Clooney wrote and directed as well as played in this film until I saw the credits.
Full of amazing actors and subtle yet striking performances, including one of my favourites, Philip Seymour Hoffman. Not to mention, Ryan Gosling is rad. If you can handle political thrillers, which a lot of people cannot, I do highly recommend this one.
