Review of The Iceman (2012) by Michael L — 21 Jun 2013
The story of Richard Kuklinski, one of the most notorious contact killers in modern American history, portrayad as living two lives, one as a merciless and sadistic killer and the other as a loving and caring family man.
Despite an intense performance by Michael Shannon and a great visual style, in failing to heighten the emotional and psychological aspect of both character and storyline this feels like an average testosterone filled and violent melodrama disguised in arty clothing.
