Review of The Ice Storm (1997) by Don V — 21 Sep 2007
My favorite Ang Lee film. Seeing that I was born in the early 70's, watching this film flung me straight into a time warp. I know it's cliché but the production on this film is dead on. It's almost like it was actually filmed in the 70's.
Sigourney Weaver is fabulous as a bored swingin' housewife. Christina Ricci is adoringly weird. But it's the story that unfolds that really lives up to the title of the movie. I loved it so much I bought it!
