Review of The Ice Storm (1997) by Bill B — 03 May 2010
Lee stepped into the dark side of family with this story about the disfunction of the 70's American family. His reputation got him three of the best American actors alive to be his grownup characters and also four very promising new talents to be the children ones.
Even with the great ensemble cast, it's still the story that moves us in the end, and never underestimate the power of how Lee can deeply disturb your heart quietly.
