Review of The Ice Storm (1997) by Maxine L — 09 Aug 2010
I really liked this movie - I remember the storm that killed our mimosa tree and I love the way the storm is another character in this intense drama about the frozen emotions and ennui of the era - the costumes - the cinematography and the intense loneliness (and iciness) of the characters is wonderful.
Powerful film.
