Review of The Ice Storm (1997) by Tino R — 21 Mar 2011
The Ice Storm is an emotional, honest, character study. Ang Lee directs great actors such as Kevin Kline, Sigourney Weaver, Joan Allen, and a group of young actors that really shine in this film. This is perhaps one of the best films that no one is really talking about, for reasons I don't know.
This film delivers such depth in various aspects; whether it's the acting, direction, cinematography, or writing one thing is sure and that is The Ice Storm is a significant film. In addition, the ending is one of the best endings I've ever seen.
