Review of The Hustler (1961) by Vince C — 13 Jan 2009
Paul Newman is one of the best actors, if not the best, actors of all time. He just eats the screen up in this movie. The supporting cast is a group of some of the best actors and actresses ever. The story is right on point and the edge that Newman shows in the end of the movie is amazing.
The story is a little twisted and weird if you think about it but shows the human side of people very well. Fastest two plus hour movie I have ever watched. Must like dialogue though if you are going to watch this.
