Pretty Boring. Jackie Gleason wasted for the most part. Paul Newman looked great, especially in Black and White. The character arc was long, boring and didn't pay off at the end. Fast Eddie needed to become something more than a angry prick asshole, he needed to become more like Minnesota Fatts and that didn't happen.
Just because he won at the end, it didn't make him a "winner".
