The first half of the movie was a little long but Denzel was in fine form! It's based on the book "The 16th Round", which is a true story of boxer Rubin "Hurricane" Carter who was falsly imprisoned for three murders.
He spent 20 years in there before a Brooklyn kid read his book and involved his Canadian activist friends to search for the truth and free him.
