Review of The Hurricane (1999) by David B — 04 Dec 2008
One of the films that inspired me to become a filmmaker, Norman Jewison delivers a solid dramatization of the story of the Hurricane, depicted in an unbelievable performance by Denzel Washington. With the exception of the back-and-forth drama in the middle of this film, I still give it a 5-star rating as an overall superbly executed film.
