Movies that claim to be "based on a true story" should not mean that the public should believe everything in this movie is true. After doing some reading elsewhere, there are many things left out and some inaccuracies, but this IS a hollywood movie.
That being said, Denzel delivers a powerful, emotional presence of Rubin Carter that pulls at your heart strings. The story is gripping and interesting throughout. Its a good thing Denzel got an oscar nod or I was about to go hurricane on somebody.
