Review of The Hurricane (1999) by Jeff B — 19 Jan 2010
The most interesting part was Hurricane's asceticism in order to deprive his jailers of their power over him. I really enjoyed this part of the film and wish the film had been more ambiguous about whether he had actually committed the crime than it was.
The last half hour of the film (the courtroom drama scenes) were somewhat interesting, but not nearly as interesting as the stuff inside the jail.
