It must be the ultimate betrayal of Justice, sending a innocent man to life in Prison.

I've heard the wonderful Bob Dylan song (and my main reason for finally hunting this movie out) and of course the horrific story of corruption that led to Rubin "Hurricane" Carter's incarceration and I find it staggering that this was even able to happen. It makes you ask the question "How many people have wrongly spent a life term in prison or worse been giving the death penalty due to corruption?"...it's not worth thinking about...It's a scary place to go.

The movie is pretty good from a film point of view and isn't defiantly worth a look.

I'm sure like me you'll be in utter disbelief at how they managed to keep him banged up for so long...I'm not going to preach and say he was a angel, the movie points to the fact he was no shrinking violet but no man deserves the card Rubin Carter was dealt.

I wish I'd seen this years before now...Missed out on a good movie but more importantly an inspiring story.
