I can understand why some of the more "high brow" critics may not like this film. I found it to be entertaining. If you enjoy fantasy films, and just want lose yourself, for a while, you may enjoy this, as I did.
I would compare it to "Willow", which I also enjoyed, very much. It has some action, it has some humor and it has some romance. It's not meant to be taken seriously, it's just meant to be fun, to watch and it is.
