Review of The Huntsman: Winter's War (2016) by Adam S — 15 Sep 2018
I don't understand why people are comparing this to Frozeb besides the ice powers.
Freya falls in love with a man. Falls pregnant out of wedlock. And Revanna fearing the knowing the prophecy of her niece's beauty like Snow White. Uses magic to get the father to murder baby. Pretty dark plot line and heartbreaking. To see the smoking cradle, horrifying. And immediately killing her lover with dormant powers.
Only parallel is ice queen, which the movie more closely parellels the Hans Christian Andersen snow queen, but the male and female roles are reversed.
Besides being tied to the first movie and some weak building plot line.
I thought it was interesting and the Halsey song, Castle is great. Don't know why people are so cynical and can't enjoy a movie.
