The story of The Huntsman is very unremarkable, there's nothing that hooks you into the Huntsman's quest so you're bored with that part of the film. Then you have the dwarf characters attempting comedy relief that falls flat constantly so you're annoyed with that part of the film.

There are some fine action and effects that make the film watchable but that's pretty much it.
