Review of The Hunting Ground (2015) by Hugo G — 29 Apr 2015
This was yet another very powerful documentary by Kirby Dick that revolves around sexual assaults in universities all around the U.S., by giving a full showcase of what's going on and how nothing's happening to prevent it. Not only does it make you angry and frustrated but it gives you a very terrifying image of what's actually going on and how frightening it all seems to be. Overall, the documentary had a lot of information that was well delivered and based on all the evidence they had, it's pretty heart-wrenching how still today sexual assault in colleges becomes a witch hunt agains the victim and how they try to hide everything for their benefit. It makes you really open your eyes and see how sinister colleges come to be when you are the victim of something that makes them look bad, just for the sake of keeping their "name" clean.
