Review of The Hunt for Red October (1990) by Bradley W — 09 Mar 2012
A taut and exceedingly well-made thriller. It keeps a strong sense of excitment, despite the fact that it is actually very minimal on action. It is driven on its ambiance (Including probably one of the most underrated film scores ever made) and it's strong acting (Particularly from Alec Badlwin and Sean Connery).
John McTiernan once again proved how greathe was as a director.
