Review of The Hunt (2013) by James T — 14 May 2013
Evil binds us when we let go of each other. Masterful director Vinterberg delves deeply into the psychological perfect storm of a small town society and the pack mentality. Mads Mikkelsen is such a wonderful actor - truly world class, albeit he does not receive the accolades he deserves in mainstream media.
This film is hugely moving and has such a wonderful underlining. Had the story been a little tighter, this would have been the first 5 star of the year for mine.
