Review of The Hunt (2013) by Marybeth A — 21 Feb 2014
This movie has scared the living sh*t out of me. I was just 40 minutes into it and had to stop it for a while because this is a story that I've personally spoken about as a deep personal fear of mine about being falsely incriminated of child abuse. Such accusations can just come from out of nowhere and your life can NEVER be the same again, honor (something important in this popularity contest we call life) can never truly be restored.
How does one fight back when such a horrendous accusation happens? How does one regain a collective trust?
This picture is a great movie because it tackles an issue for which the masses go into hysteria on a flick of a bee's wing.
This must be the Best of Foreign Films of 2013/2014.
