Review of The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013) by Serge L — 28 May 2015

I had not seen any other hunger games. This film reminded me so many Dracula films, King Kong, Jaws, Jurrassic park. Lots of boring talking until the action starts. The whole first half felt so fake to me, I was going to sleep.

I gave up and chose to continue the next day. The second half is where all the fun is. I definitely enjoyed most of that part. There are a few clever ideas in the story that makes it original in spite of the empire routine reformulated.
