Catching Fire improves on the first Hunger Games with beautiful directing, amazing performances, great cinematography, and a politically thrilling story that adds up to one of the best Science-Fiction movies ever made and my personal favorite movie ever.
The first half is a great political thriller and the second half is an exciting action movie and the two halves combine to give everything that anyone could ever want in a sequel. It's faithful to the book, has a stellar lead performance by Lawrence, and should be remembered as a great movie for years to come.
